About Us

We pride ourselves on doing things a little differently

We design and build high-performance homes, additions, and ADUs for families across Denver and the Front Range.

Building better homes through thoughtful design and craftsmanship.

We create spaces that support the way families live today, while standing the test of time for years to come.

Prenvalley Builders is a Denver-based design–build construction company specializing in custom homes, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), additions, pop-tops, and renovations throughout Denver and the Front Range.

By bringing design and construction together under one team, we’re able to guide homeowners through the building process with transparency, accuracy, and confidence—resulting in homes that are efficient, durable, and thoughtfully built.

Our Design-Build Approach

A Collaborative Design–Build Process

Designing and building a home is complex. Too often, homeowners are left navigating gaps between designers, builders, and budgets. Our design–build approach solves this by keeping the entire team aligned from the start.

By collaborating closely with architects, designers, engineers, and homeowners early in the process, we’re able to:

  • Improve communication and coordination

  • Develop more accurate budgets

  • Reduce surprises during construction

  • Create smoother timelines

  • Deliver better-built homes

This integrated approach allows us to make thoughtful decisions early—when they matter most—so construction runs more efficiently and predictably.

We believe builders and designers have a responsibility to act as stewards of the environment, minimizing waste, selecting responsibly sourced materials when possible, and building homes that perform efficiently over the long term.

These goals take effort and intention in a competitive construction market—but we believe quality, responsibility, and performance should never be compromised.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This can vary greatly depending on type of project, size of project, site conditions, and finish level. Due to all these variables, we like to focus on providing accurate estimates for your project’s unique parameters.

  • If you’re working with us on design we can typically start in a couple of weeks but if you’re looking for us to just build your project it depends on where you are in the design process but if you have approved plans we can typically start within a month or two.

  • Yes, we can typically accommodate this as long as it’s in good shape and meets certain standards (e.g. lighting fixtures must be UL listed and using old plumbing fixtures may void our plumber's warranty). Keep in mind that we typically cannot use old lumber for structural components.

  • Yes, we have a few standard ADU designs we have in house that we can utilize in order to save a bit on the upfront design costs. Those ADUs range from a 600 sq.ft. single story 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit to a 2,000 sq.ft 3 bed with a garage/ office below.

  • We like to avoid this at all costs to allow for the efficiency of our team and avoid any unnecessary damage to those items.

  • We allow our clients to take on very limited aspects of their project (e.g. painting and trim). We have found that it’s ultimately the best approach for our team to control all parts of our process so that we can deliver the best process and end product for our clients.

  • Yes, we do our best to recycle as many materials as possible. This includes but is not limited to - cabinets, countertops, plumbing/ lighting fixtures, lumber, concrete, etc.
